The Security Department is the main combative force within the Foundation and serves as the first responders to nearly any incident that may arise in the facility, whether it is managing the Class-D Containment Zone or watching over points of interest. In the end, the Security Department is critical to the success of the Foundation's operations.

The Security Response Unit is the rapid response team of the Security Department. They are responsible for handling combat-related events that base Security Personnel are unable to handle with use of specialized equipment.

The Security Response Unit's duties consist of riot response, hostage negotiations, rogue personnel interception and capture, and containment of SCPs.

The Military Police is the enforcement unit of the Security Department. The unit works closely with the Ethics Committee in order to apprehend rule breakers.

The Military Police's duties consist of enforcement of the Code of Ethics, pursuit, capture and detainment of rogue personnel, assisting the Ethics Committee, and control of the Cleanrooms.
